Cricket Match Preview:
After winning the ODI cricket series, England women will now take on Sri Lanka women in a three-match T20 cricket series. England had a great time in the shortest format of the cricket game in India, where they beat the host by a 3-0 margin. Sri Lanka are expected to be a much less challenge than India hence, England women might look to experiment and yet dominate the series.
The main difference in class seems to be the fact that England women have more firepower in their batting lineup and that provides them with a distinct advantage in a cricket format that is all about hard-hitting batters. Sri Lanka women, on the other hand, are struggling in all aspects of their cricket game. They have lost all the cricket games played this year.
England women have got too many match-winners in their lineup and that might prove to be too much for a low-ranked side like Sri Lanka. But not everything is about winning or losing, at least not for Sri Lanka. They will be looking closely at their opponent and would like to pick one or two things from much accomplished International players.
Skipper Jayangani has a tough task on her hand, not only to take Sri Lanka back to winning ways but also to change the fortune of the Sri Lanka women’s cricket in the country. She would be urging her players to learn the trade from England women players. England, meanwhile, would like to continue their merry run in the island country.
For the tougher road ahead, England women would like to try out all the untested players in their squad as there is nothing like learning while actually playing rather than net practice. Sri Lanka women, on the other hand, would like their senior players to stand up and start delivering.
Cricket Match Information:
England women will now take on Sri Lanka women in the first T20 cricket game of the three-match series. England women won the ODI cricket series played under ICC women’s championship. Sri Lanka women have had a torrid time on the field for some time now and would like to improve their performance.

Cricket Statistics and Prediction:
Amy Jones has been in great form in recent times. Her performances at the top of the order has won many cricket games on this tour for England. She has also been well supported by her team so far on this cricket tour as well as Indian tour. Our prediction is of another good knock from her.
Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
This will be the first ever ODI cricket game to be played on this cricket ground. The nature of the surface should be like any other Sri Lanka surface. It should assist the pacers early on followed by some spin. Our prediction is a score of around 120 in this cricket game.
England women will begin the cricket game as overwhelming favourites. They have a superior record over Sri Lanka in all cricket format. Since they have already won the ODI cricket series and Sri Lanka are expected to be a weak challenge in T20 format of the cricket game as well, only complacency can stop England from winning this game.
Top Batsman (Prediction):
Amy Jones (ENG) – 50+ runs
Top Bowler (Prediction):
A Shrubsole (ENG) – 2 or more wickets
Most Sixes (Prediction):
Danielle Wyat (ENG)
